What is contained within this Lesson:

  • How to create assemblies and mate components.
  • Mating Parts simply, making faces COINCIDENT with each other and using DISTANCE Mates.
  • Using PLANES as Mating faces ALSO !!!! Need to note this. Design your parts making sure that the Top, Right and Front Planes are in the middle of Parts.
  • Creating Sub-Assemblies for using several complicated objects.
  • Moving and Rotating parts.
  • Creating Exploded Configurations using "AutoExplode"
  • Quick Introduction to using Solidworks ToolBox. !!

Exercises, both compulsory and practice are used to cover the above areas and are a requsite to accurate, fully defined parametric modelling.
