Lesson 7.
What is contained within this Lesson:

  • How to create, edit, save and set-up Drawing Templates and Sheet Formats.
  • Producing 'Standard Three-View Drawings
  • Inserting 'Named' and 'Current Views' into Drawings.
  • Dimensioning Drawings. Three Methods - Inserting Model Items, Manual Dimensioning, and Ordinate Dimensioning.
  • Creating Sectioned Views with associated Hatching in Drawings
  • Using 'More Properties' to use different configurations, e.g. Exploded Configuration.
  • Wireframe, Hidden Lines, and Shaded views.
  • Tangent Edges.
  • Inserting/ Adding New Sheets
  • Inserting an Automatic Bill of Materials (hint: anchor point) and Balloon Referencing.

Exercises, both compulsory and practice are used to cover the above areas and are a requsite to accurate, fully defined parametric modelling.
